Я сказал: «Я сделаю это сразу» и куплю хлеб, но она случайно выбрала медленный маршрут, потому что была занятая и поправляла волосы. Я ответил, что не иметь чего-то не страшно: «Это не важно», — сказал я. В магазине уже не было ничего, свободного места тоже нет, и вообще это не важно. Мама ждала нас у двери: вход был открыт, а те люди у дома уже ушли.

On the street my younger sister and I argued about the way home. I said I would do it right away and buy bread, but she accidentally chose the slower path because she was busy fixing her hair. I said that not having something was not the end of the world, that there was nothing left in the shop, that there simply was not any, and that it did not matter. The door and the entrance were still open, and those people by the house did not care either. Mom only laughed and said we would be home soon.
