Хозяин был дома в центре, стоял у стола на этаже старого дома. Он только что успел выходить из дома через ворота, проверить адрес и заметить километр на дороге. «Я сказал нарочно», — объяснил он, показывая на картину на стене. Потом он вспомнил, как хотел вернуться на родину, но успел только столкнуться с новой заботой: нужен удобный стул, спортивная форма, нельзя болеть, надо кормить кота, а рядом стоит ещё один стул. Мама обещала прийти позже.

The owner was at home in the center of town, standing by the table on the floor of the old building. He had just come out of the house through the gate, checked the address, and noted the kilometer marker outside. “I said it on purpose,” he told us while pointing at the picture on the wall. Later he spoke about returning to the homeland, colliding with old problems, a comfortable chair, sports clothes, being ill, feeding the cat, and the second chair beside the table. The whole house felt inhabited in a very literal way.
